Anyone have a big stick we can use?

MH found out who the little black kit/cat lives.

Its the people upstairs from us.  They let her out at night and let her back in sometime in the morning after I get home.  I offered to take care of her instead of them letting her out (Since we live next to a major highway) but they wouldn't take us up on the offer.  They do take care of her at least, she's small but well fed and her coats shiny.  So I made up our patio with a place to sleep and food and water so she has a place to stay til they let her back in.  (I hope she's been spayed or it could get bad).

Another step forward

I think MH is up to something.  He came in this morning and got a big cup full of the food I won't eat, then took it outside.  When he came back the cup was empty but he was whistling. 

MH:  I saw a small stray kitten when I came home and she was meowing up a storm.  So I gave her some of Myst's food and set there petting her.  She wouldn't let me pick her up or follow me upstairs... yet.  I'm hoping I can get her inside.  From what the Management of our apartments say, her owners were the ones living on the third floor.  Apparently they moved out and left her.  So if I can catch her Myst might get a sister, or worse case we'll find her a home with a friend.  Cross your fingers folks this ones not going to be a easy one.

Rememberances

Many have went to wait for us at the bridge this year.  We don't usually post on other blogs(I blame MH for this) but we read many places and grin at some of the posts. 


I'll never forget Tabitha..  The tuxedo lady from the shelter who stayed with us for over14 years.  Or Tazer, the little spaz who only stayed with us for a year but made a large impact. 

So we light the candle not just for them, but for all those who also went to the bridge.
